Article View Counts
When you open an article, we count one view per reader per day. To tell readers apart without cookies, the server combines your IP address with a key that changes every day and stores only the resulting one-way hash. Your IP address is never stored, the hash can't be linked to you or across days, and view records are deleted after 90 days.
